Meeting other younger people, reading their stories and experiences has made me feel less alone. It was the missing part of my treatment plan and has made me feel happier, supported and more confident about living with osteoporosis

Shaped by younger people

Developed by people living with osteoporosis at a younger age, the Younger People's Network reflects what matters most to you.

A community that understands

Younger people living with osteoporosis may not have many opportunities to meet others in a similar situation. This network brings people under 50 together to connect with others who understand the challenges of an earlier diagnosis and how it can affect everyday life. Our online community and online sessions are spaces to share experiences and ideas, learn from others, and feel less alone.

I was just 27 when I was diagnosed and felt very alone. I didn't know anyone of a similar age who understood what I was going through

Practical help and shared experiences

Living with osteoporosis at a younger age can bring unique challenges - at work, in education, managing family and finances. Our network provides a safe space to talk about important topics, like navigating diagnosis alongside work or study, balancing family responsibilities, staying active, and daily life with osteoporosis.

When we've had meetings with younger people, it's amazing how people just click. It feels comforting knowing that others understand
